Poutoko: Impact Project Update: Rangatahi Opportunity Project

Since our July update, the Rangatahi Opportunity team have continued to reach out to rangatahi and youth organisations in Kirikiriroa Hamilton, understanding more deeply the lived experience of rangatahi, their strengths and the challenges they face.

Along with the research we have previously undertaken in partnership with Te Ngira at the University of Waikato (Insights | Waikato Wellbeing Project), we are now finalising our case for change which summarises our insights and presents areas where our research and co-design processes has indicated there are opportunities to collaboratively address the issues we have uncovered. Some of these are potentially new ideas, and some are existing initiatives which could be further built upon.

In late October we will hold an event to celebrate the progress made by the Rangatahi Opportunity, share the case for change and explore the opportunities and stapes to take from here.

Save the date: Wednesday 26 October 4:30-7:30 pm. Venue: Wintec Atrium
