A system thinking expert who has advised local, regional and national sale organisation on a range of major social, economic, infrastructure and environmental challenges over the past 20 years. Justin is a natural thinker in systems and enjoys working on complex and inter-disciplinary issues. His work has been published in national and international journals and publications.

Justin has led his own consulting company, Deliberate Consulting, for the past 9 years, specialising in understanding complexity. His clients have included the National Science Challenge, various regional councils, Dairy NZ and the Ministry for the Environment. Previously Justin was a consultant for GHD, a large engineering professional services consulting company.

Justin is also the national coordinator of the Aotearoa hub of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAII), a non-political international alliance of organisations focused on advancing the discussion to a wellbeing economy.

Of Ngati Mahuta, English and Irish descent, Justin has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland, and a Master of Management Studies (1st Class Hons) from the University of Waikato.
