Hera Denton joins the Waikato Kai Challenge as Kai Challenge Lead, bringing extensive project management experience working with iwi, hapū and whānau in Māori education and taiao kaupapa.

She has collaborated with knowledge holders across te ao Māori and the Western world, and is currently completing a Masters in Māori and Indigenous Leadership at the University of Canterbury with Kai Motuhake as her kaupapa.

Deeply grounded in her personal values, Hera is dedicated to her partner, their tamariki and their whenua.
